India’s Fourth match of the World Cup 2023 will be played with Bangladesh on 19th October at MCA Stadium, Pune. The Indian team is at the top in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 points table after winning its last three matches. Virat Kohli against Australia and Rohit Sharma (Hitman) against Afghanistan and Pakistan played a major role in helping the team win its first matches by batting well. All the bowlers of Team India are in excellent form and are troubling the batsmen of the opposition team a lot with their balls.
On the other side, Bangladesh remains at seventh position in the points table with one win. In their last match, Bangladesh had to face defeat by New Zealand by 8 wickets. Bangladesh assistant coach Nick Pothas called India the best team in the world and said that it is a great opportunity for his team to test their skills against the hosts in the ongoing Cricket World Cup.
Bangladesh also had an extended full session on Tuesday, training for more than three hours in the afternoon heat in the presence of captain Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib suffered a left leg injury during the match against New Zealand in Chennai last Friday. Shakib’s availability for the match against India depends on how the all-rounder performs in training.
